WHAT
WE DO

Our goal is sherpa-ing front-line communities and agents of changes at all levels to maximise the synergy of socio-economic development and climate action.

Building constituencies: There are many potential agents of change (citizen groups, business owners, etc.). With science, digital technology, micro catalytic funds, and expert networks, we enable them to be leaders of sustainable development and voice for climate.

Translating concerns into action: Unheard local concerns can be a driver of policy change. We bring local voices to decision-makers to act.

Partnering internationally: Effective international cooperation is key to fast and fair transition. We connect domestic and international actors (governments, cities, local leaders, etc.) to create chemistry for better climate action.

Our Focuses:

  • Constituency Building & Local Climate Solutions: Building local constituencies and supporting community-driven initiatives that enhance local economic development.
  • Science-Policy-Politics Interface: Directly providing support to policy-makers with evidence-based solutions.
  • International Cooperation & Diplomacy: Collaborating with international actors to advance better sustainability and climate policies.

OUR
SERVICES

Supporting Actors pursuing Climate and Development Synergies

As the climate crisis causes increasingly devastating economic and social impacts, people are mobilising to take action. With a synergistic approach, climate actions can significantly contribute to local socio-economic development. We support change agents to lead and advocate for the implementation of synergistic actions for economic, social, and environmental issues to achieve net zero and nature-positive world.

Providing policymakers with latest science and best practices
  • Climate change and green technologies are advancing rapidly, and keeping abreast of the latest update is a challenge for many policymakers. Grasping local best practices are too demanding as well. However, these are indispensable for evidence-based policy making (EBPM). Therefore, we assist those policymakers with the latest insights from domestic and international partners and successful local and regional cases and practices.
  • Through these engagement, we aim to accelerate systemic changes to embrace races to net zero and to remove barriers for local and regional actors to move fast and forward.
Engaging in processes related to climate change and sustainable development
  • As a specialist on multilateral processes, we engage in negotiations and other forum to advance our partners' agenda.
  • International spaces can foster new collaborations. We support local leaders and change agents to effectively engage in such spaces for showcasing its commitments, exchanging ideas, and develop new partnerships.
